Welcome, Viviana!
My name is Viviana Sarmiento and I am from Colombia. I am a chemical engineer, and my favorite fields are analytical chemistry, statistics and chemometrics. I am new in this academic sector, I worked before in industry and public sector in my country, but after an Erasmus Master in Quality in Analytical Laboratories, I decided to move here with my family. After working some months in a project with Prof. Monica Jordheim’s supervision, we got the opportunity of undertaking an Industrial PhD with NFR. I am learning and enjoying a lot and I am very excited about our project that is about natural antioxidants from seaweeds. I love to play with my son, to travel and to dance!
