Have you seen our DNA?
Maybe you have passed Reagensglaset and noticed something special in the corner of the room? You have seen our DNA! We received this fantastic gift from retired chemistry lecturers, Ole Drangfelt og Jess Holmboe-Erichsen. With great patience, they have created this fantastic model of a DNA molecule and presented it to the Department of Chemistry as a gift. Leiv Sydnes then drew interesting parallels between a Nobel Prize and our department, in a piece of scientific history that most of us didn’t know. The two generous gentlemen each received a UiB tie as a greeting and thanks from us.
