Welcome Andrea!
Andrea Estefania Carpinteyro Diaz is a research fellow in the natural product group working with the isolation of bioactive natural products from unique plant sources and assessment of anti-cancer and phototoxic activity having as supervisors Professors Torgils Fossen and Lars Herfindal. 
Her background is one of a biochemical engineer with a master degree in food science from Mexico and a master degree in chemistry from UiB (2017).
