Hello, everyone.
I am Zaw Min Thu from Myanmar. I earned my PhD degree from Mandalay University, Myanmar in 2016. I studied my doctorate mobility, as a part of my PhD program, at University of Pavia, Italy in 2013 and did my post-doctoral study at Ningxia Organic Synthesis and Engineering Technology, Ningxia Academy of Agriculture and Forestry Sciences, PR China in 2019. During my PhD and post-doctoral career, I have been working on Natural Product Chemistry and monobactam antibiotics synthesis. 
I will be working as a researcher in Professor Torgils Fossen´s research group with a passion for the isolation and structure determination of bioactive natural products from selected plant sources with a particular focus on aromatic compounds. I am excited to start a new chapter in my life, working with you and living in such a beautiful city, Bergen.
